TECHNICAL SUPPORT – an infrastructure that facilitates industry specific advice and assistance. Technical support includes consultation (via peers, lobbyist and legal staff), committees of practice, newsletters and other resources that increase provider agency capacity and effectiveness.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY – an avenue for sharing and exchanging information between provider agencies that promotes quality support and services to persons with disabilities across the state of TN.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING – continued education opportunities that further maximize the skill set of provider agency directors and personnel.
INFLUENCE PUBLIC POLICY – monitor and collaboratively influence legislative and administrative issues that impact provision of services.
PUBLIC RELATIONS AND AWARENESS – garner public awareness and support of the needs and concerns of individuals with disabilities and service provider agencies.
